Hey everybody! I thought I would update since I haven't since 2009! I did finally get a job I am sure many of you already know! I am working at Sunshine Children's Services. http://www.sunrise.org I am a DCC2 which means Direct Care Counselor! I am really excited about it. I have been at training for the last two weeks and I now have one more week ahead of me! Hopefully it will go well! Have a great weekend!

I love this time of year!!! Pumpkins, pretty leaves, apple cider, pumpkin pie blizzards from Dairy Queen, cold weather and the list goes on and on! I love all seasons but fall makes me happy! Halloween and Thanksgiving are AMAZING and it means I can pull out my cute fall clothes!!! Whats not to love???
So not a lot has been going on. I am looking for a job... still. I am hoping that something comes along soon so that I can move on with my life. It's time for some things to change. I am excited for this weekend. My friend Lauren is in Vet school down in Mississippi and she is coming home. I am SOOOOOO excited to see her! We are going to the Arts and Crafts fair at Audobon State Park. I hope that we can find some cute stuff! Well I don't have a lot of stuff going on right now and I hate to ramble so... Hello everyone!!! I was told yesterday that I bore people by not updating my blog regularly in which I replied "When you do nothing, there's nothing to tell." But to please my fans here I go. I am currently looking for a job and figuring out what direction my like is taking. I am staying with Rachel this week on "vacation".But right now my whole life is a vacation, while I feel that I am a debt to society. This weekend Mom and Rachel are taking me to Georgia and I am so excited!!! I want to meet Paula Deen and Ruby! That would be so exciting!!! I love to travel. Going and seeing new places! So much fun! Well! That is it. I hope that you all have a good week and as Paula says "Best wishes from my house to yours!!!"

As most of you already know, on Saturday May 16, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., I received my college degree. I have a B.A. in Communications. I really never thought that this day would come. I fought a long, hard battle. I know that stress was at a constant high around my house and at Rachel's, But I have finished and now I am on to bigger and better things! I am currently looking for a job so that when the bills start coming I can pay them. If any body knows some place hiring let me know! (and NO Rachel, I am NOT working at Hill's, unless no other place will hire me!)It stills seems unreal to me. I don't think that it will hit me until all of my friends start packing up to go back to school and I am staying home. I am ok with it though. I never was a school kind of person. I would rather work than write a research paper or take a test. I am nervous because people keep telling me "Welcome to the real world!" and that is scaring me, But I know it will be ok! I hope that everyone has a nice rest of the week!!!

The statement I made above is VERY true! When I was younger I would go and stay with Grandma and Grandpa Powers and Aunt Avo for a week or two during the summer.I would love when Aunt Avo, Grandma and I would go to yard sales!Especially when we would go to the rich neighborhoods! This weekend while I was in Alabama, Rachel and I made plans to go "yard saleing"! I kind of forgot how much I enjoy it. Rachel and I have this "super power" We see something and we don't see it but we see the possibilities and potential that it has. Anyway! We got up and even though it was raining, we trekked on! We found some amazing deals and I got some stuff for my future place. I got an end table and coffee table for $20, 2 pillows I am going to cover for $1, a lamp for $4, a serving bowl and large casserole dish for $2 a piece and High School Musical for $5(that was my favorite find of the day!!! : ) Also I got some place mats and some other stuff. I like going to yard sales because I don't exactly like that "new" look. I don't want my place to look like it came out of a magazine. I want it to look nice but also to look lived in. Plus you can get really neat stuff from different eras. Also I like getting stuff for cheap (that's why I like Goodwill so much!)
All in all we had a great weekend!!! I got to relax and eat great food and hang out with my best friend/sister!
Also shout out to BenG! He filled up my car! This morning I was dreading having to stop and get gas and when I got in my car I looked to see how close I was to empty and instead of being close to E it was on F!!! SO thanks to my favorite brother-in-law!!!
Well I guess that is about it.

Sorry I haven't written in a while! I have been EXTREMELY busy trying to get through school and graduate! Everything is going well. I have Makin Music retreat=torture this weekend and then next weekend I have Makin Music! This is my first year to do it. I figured my senior year I would try some different stuff. I really like it. I just hope I do ok! Well! I have to go study so that I can graduate in May : ) I hope you have a great weekend!!!

This post is a hard one for me to write. A week ago today we buried my Grandpa. He was a good man that we all loved and respected. As Rachel said I can still hear his laugh. It's hard cause I will call mom and almost say "How is Grandpa?" but we all know he's in a good place and in no pain. The reason I write this is too say thank you for all of your prayers while he was sick, for our family and for supporting Rachel and I during this. People always tell that story about its not when you were born or when will you pass but what does your dash mean. My mom counted the sign in book and give or take a few name in 2 days 500 people came to the funeral home. He raised a great family and he loved us all and showed no favoritism among the grandchildren, we were all his favorites. I can honestly say my Grandpa made the most of his life. He has a noteworthy dash!

I remember when I was a little girl, every morning I would wake up and tell momma that I was sick and that I couldn't go to school( We're talking like play school through 4th grade here!) Then when I was really sick my mom didn't believe me!I do remember one time this scenario happened and then I threw up on the car port Rachel and Joey were disgusted and Mom said "Ok! You really are sick!" I was the little girl that yelled sick! But ANY WHO! On those days that I really was sick, I always remember my mom would let me lay on the couch and lay my head in her lap and she would get me Sprite and Chicken Noodle soup and though I was sick, I knew I would be ok cause Mom was there. Now that I am in college I really miss those days. Tuesday I woke up VERY sick!(I'll spare you the details) but I texted mom to tell her and I started crying because I wanted to be 5 again and have her play with my hair while I watched t.v. and drank Sprite. I guess this was all to say that I wish when I was 5, I hadn't been wishing that I could grow up and be on my own! As the famous Judy Garland playing Dorothy said "There's no place like home!"

Since I am graduating in May, I am starting to look around for houses and different places. I found this one little house in Hueytown. It kind of reminds me of a cute little cottage. Anyway! I am having fun looking at stuff for my future house and deciding on what colors I want to use. Mom and Rachel are helping me find stuff that I can use once I actually get to move in to a house! I love October! It is the start of a very fun season! I have always liked October. As most people know Rachel and I really like Halloween and Christmas is great too! And I could never forget Thanksgiving! I guess I just like it because I get to pretend to be something I'm not! How is that you feel like you have had the most stressful week of your life and then in one split second all of your worries just melt away? This generally happens when I get to go home and see mom and dad or when I get to hang outw ith Rachel. That was this kind of weekend. At church camp (West Kentucky Youth Camp), we had the Teen retreat. I didn't tell my friends I was coming. They all thought that I had to work. Then they drove up and all of a sudden I hear "Merf!!!!"(that's what they call me)they were all running at me and that started a great weekend. This also happened on sunday when I was walking back to the cabin with a couple of the girls and they said "Meredith, isn't that your mom?" I was so shocked! She had come up to suprise me cause I generally have to work Saturdays and I'm not sure if I'll get to go home before Thanksgiving. It was just a weekend of awesome suprises! These are the times that I really feel loved and know that no matter what I will always have friends. It was a very spiritually uplifting weekend and was exactly what I needed after the last couple of stressful weeks I have had! I hope that you all had a great weekend too!!! This weekend was RUSH weekend. It was a lot of fun. I hate it because I had to work this weekend from 12-5 and wasn't able to see everyone like I wanted to. I only got to see Pam like 3 times and the group from home I only got to see them for what felt like a couple hours.For those of you who were here: Sorry I couldn't hang out with you and I hope that you had a great time! One thing that really bothers me is the only thing I knew that I was going to be able to do with the group, they wouldn't let me in. They have a hypnotist come (he's been coming for 14 years) named Jim Wand.(That's his pic!) He is really entertaining but they told me I couldn't come in because I was a Freed student (they have a show for us Sunday night) It was just upsetting because like I said it was really the only thing I was going to be able to do with them. But oh well! We still had a great time and hopefully they can come back soon just to hang out and we can all just chill out and not rush, rush, rush! Have a great week!

Hey everybody!!! I am sorry that I haven't been writing! Freed wouldn't let us get on here last year and it took me 20 steps to get to the page so it just wasn't worth my time! Senior year is off like a rocket! I got to got to a consert last friday ( Josh Gracin) and they had an illusionist last night (Jason Bishop) and this sunday they are having Jim Wand he's a hypnotist. This past weekend I was in Alabama for a ladies day and can I just say that the speaker did a FABULOUS job! Well she is my mom but hey! She did amazing and I am really proud of her. It seemed like every time I would call she would be working on the outline! This is going to be a busy weekend! R.U.S.H is this weekend and I have 8 people I think staying with me but we always have a blast! I hope everyone has a great week!

Sorry it has been so long since I have written! Not much has been going on since recently! I have been working at Curves againg this summer! Its been fun. As most people know I had a really bad wreck. I flipped my moms car and I think that that is what makes it so bad. I would have been ok without my car but the fact that its moms Saturn Vue I totaled that makes me upset. The worst thing though is that momma was in a different country when it happend and she was really the only person I wanted! Rachel and Kim came up though and that made me really happy. I still can't go back to work which I hate because I am about to go crazy here in the house. Mom is coming home tomorrow and I am VERY excited about that! And in afew weeks I am going back to Freed! So now y'all are caught up!

This is my last week of school!!! I am so excited and so sad. I am ready to be done with finals. I didn't have any today but I have 1 tuesday, 2 wednesday, and 1 thursday and then I am on my way to good ole' Kentucky!!! I have friends that are graduating and I am one of those people who REALLY hate goodbyes. I still get tearry eyed when I have to say bye to my parents after a weekend visit!!! But I know that my friends are going on to do bigger and better things. It kind of scares me to think about graduating but luckly I still have a little bit of time so!!! Tonight my friends Kelli, Alyssa and I went to see Spiderman 3!!! Oh my goodness it was SOOO good! I would like to say that it is an roller coaster ride of emotions. You never know whats going to happen and then you think you know but generally you are wrong! I can't wait till it comes out on DVD! I know this is a random post but I knew that my loyal readers were wondering about me, so now you know!!!

A lot has happened since my last post! I got back from Spring Break! I had an amazing time with my friends! I got to go to Universal Studios for the first time and it was amazing. Then this thursday my momma came to see me. We had a really good time. Then on friday the Easter Bunny came to visit me early! I got a REALLY cute shirt I wanted, some candy and a lamb and pig! Then she left : < I hate when I have to leave family or they leave me! But school is over in 6 weeks and I will be home! Well thats all! Have a good Saturday!
P.S. my friend who I went home with invited me down for a week this summer and we are going to Disney world! I am SOOOO EXCITED!!!!

I am very excited! This up coming week is Spring Break for Freed!!! I usually go home but this year I was made an offer I couldn't refuse!!! I got invited by 2 of my friends to go home with them. You might be thinking what's so special about that? Well, they live in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida! I have not been to Florida since I was 10 years old. Rachel and Ben did take me to the beach last summer for a weekend. I had so much fun last summer for one weekend I can't imagine a whole week! I'm happy that I get to spend a whole week with some of my closest friends and none of us have to worry about test or homework or Makin Music practice! Well, I need to pack and study so, have a good week!!!

This has not been the best weekend. I have been sick since thursday night : ( Sneezing, sore throat. I have been busy though. I have a book report, test and homework due monday! I have been busy trying to get my stuff ready for my friend Ashley's wedding and Spring Break (I am going to Jacksonville, Florida where some of my friends live). But as always it will all get done! Let me just tell you, it has been a crazy weekend!!! This weekend I went to Rachel's for my birthday "celebration"! First I get lost because of a detour. Ben came and got me and put me on the right track! Event #2 I slipped on Rachels door entry and almost sprained my ankle (I am not sueing!) Event #3: I thought I would be wild and adventurous and get alligator at the Fish Market when we went out for Jasmines birthday. Everyone says that it taste like chicken. Well they must be eating rotten chicken because that was one of the nastiest things I have ever had! Event #4: As I am backing out of Jasmines driveway, I couldn't see and broke my right side mirror! No, I am not making this up either! There were some good things! I got my birthday gifts from Rachel, Ben and Jasmine! Rachel made me some really GREAT food (ex. cheesecake, chicken cordon bleu, and FUN-FETTI cupcakes!) also I got to just hang out with Rachel! She got me AMAZING gifts! She made me a pink & brown John Deere fleece blanket, got me dragonfly lights and a memory card for my camera! Well! Next weekend I get to go to my parents house and I am VERY excited! Have a great week, I know I will!

I'm sitting in the lobby tonight with two of my friends Kaycee and Molly chatting about weekend plans and I bring up that I am going to Alabama to see my sister. Well, Kaycee at that moment say's "Last week at this time it was snowing!" and I said " OH, please don't say that!" then Kaycee decides to tell me that we are expecting freezing rain! I have not had the best experiences when it has come to my birthday and weather. Being born in February is not all that great! When I was 12, I was supposed to have a birthday party which almost got cancelled because of almost a foot of snow (school was cancelled that day!) when I turned 17, it snowed so no one could come over, last year I didn't get to go home so my parents came to see me because every weekend I planned on coming home it snowed. Finally at the end of march I got to celebrate! So all these people that complain about how we aren't in school during their birthday really have nothing to complain about! Well I am going to bed! Hopefully I get to go to Alabama and don't get lost (too many times!) Thanks Kim for the directions!!!

Sorry it's taken me so long to post. I had to find a way to get around the admin. block here at Freed! : ( They are ridiculous sometimes! I am now 21 years old! I had an AMAZING birthday! I got balloons from Rachel and Ben, and another bunch from mom, dad, Joey and Jamee. I've gotten lots of cards. Then at 12:00 last night, my friends had a suprise party for me! I got to blow out candles, but I almost set off the fire alarm! We were fanning the smoke out the window! My friends found out the other day that I didn't get Lisa Frank stuff when I was younger so they got me Lisa Frank folders and a coloring book!( I don't think they heard the part that I wasn't particularly fond of the stuff! Too cutesy!) I really appreciate everyone who did so much to make it special! It's not even over yet! This weekend I get to go see Rachel and Ben and we are doing some stuff(were also celebrating Rachels birthday. She's opening her gifts from me!) and then the next weekend I get to celebrate with mom, dad, Joey and Jamee! I talked to my brother last night and he asked me if I had gone and "partied". I told him that if you call going to church, Wal-Mart, taco bell and then to sonic and getting a blue cocunut cream slush partying? Then yes, I am a party animal!!!

Merry Christmas everyone!!! I hope that all of you holiday planning and partying are going well! I have not been doing so well this year. I have not really been in the holiday spirit. I think it is because I am driving myself around this year and I am seeing the stupidity that is all around. I understand wanting to get the perfect gift for people but, I don't see the point in driving like it is Nascar and why is it called the Happiest season of all but people look at you like "If you grab that pair of shoes I will hurt you!" I mean honestly, if your son or daughter doesn't get it now, they will be ok! Any who! Jamie and I went on a 2 day road trip! It was amazing! We were in Kentucky still but we went shopping in Ohio! We went to three malls in 2 states in one day! Well! I hope that y'all have a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and I hope that there are no Grinch's or Scrooge's in your life!!!

The other day I got a book from the library about a girl who was heavy and she had a huge crush on this guy. After reading the book it got me to thinking. This book was basically my life except I am not from London. So I have decided to go on a diet. I started monday I weighed today and I have already lost four pounds!!! I am really excited about this. I have a goal set in mind. I want to be to my goal weight in June. I know that it will be a struggle but as long as family and friends support and help me I feel that I will do it. The odd thing is, I am kind of excited!!! Maybe I can look like this one day? OR maybe not! Who knows!!!

Well! It only took me 21 weeks (just kidding) probably, 3 months to get my room clean BUT it is done!!! This was a very large challenge for me!!! My mom is very proud of it. I am just happy that it is done. Now when I am doing something fun, I won't be thinking that I should be cleaning my room!!! I know that all of you know that feeling! Have a good rest of the week!

So! Now that I am in my third year of school and people keep asking me what my major is I have decided that maybe I should be doing some thinking. I had a really good talk with my mom's cousin Keith monday night and he really got me to thinking. It is not that he said anything different than what hundreds (thats the way I feel) of people have said "Follow your heart" "What do you like?" What do I like? Shopping, scrapbooking, movies and guys! BUT that is only a job in the perfect world!!!! He just said it in a way that helped me I guess! Well Abby is about to chew the cords on the keyboard and I still need to clean my room! (Week 20 of the cleaning of the room!) See ya later!

Freedom of Speech? Yeah right!

I have had a incident happen in one of my classes. I have a teacher who cusses and one day he let a boy play a cd he had made. The boy said that if the words offended anyone to speak up. I told them that I would be offended and that I would go out in the hall. It bothered me so much that I wrote a email to the teacher and told him that I was offended by all of the fowl language that was used in the classroom by classmates and him. So today as I am walking to class the teacher walks up to me and tells me that he and the boy are going to apologize to the class. The teacher makes his remarks about being irresponsible and the other guy gets up and says "I am sorry if I offended anyone BUT (I held my breath here) I feel like I wasn't in the wrong. I told you what words were going to be in the song and that one girl (that would be me) got up and left." Then everyone starts to yell "First Amendment" and "Freedom of speech" The whole time I am thinking " Good grief, why do I feel like I am at the Salem Whitch trials all of a sudden?" Then I started to think, everyone is so big into freedom of speech, but what they don't realize is that freedom of speech is only important to them when everybody agrees with them. It is only when someone stands against the majority that "freedom of speech" is thrown in. I agree, I used freedom of speech! Though I do feel that as I was leaving everyone was saying "Witch, witch, witch!" Oh well! God was there with me and I survived!!!

Well, I got the job at curves. I like it a lot. I get to work out for free and I get a discount on the clothes, vitamins and protein shake mix! Woo-Hoo!!! I have a test tuesday to determine if I know the information they gave me the other day. I have to know a phone script, the muscles in the body and the official name of the machines and what you are working while on the machine. I better go study! I think this is funny. Not sure why. I guess I thought tag would end when I left grade school! Oh well! Here it goes:
1. I eat chinese food more than anything else.
2. I was 20 years old when I got my license.
3. I have to match, even my pajamas.
4. I change my purse everytime I change clothes ( even if I am just going to curves)
5. Everyone thinks that I have a twin even though it is my sister who is 7 years older than me.
6. I don't like being touched, unless it is a hug or something and it has to be a really good friend or my family.
7. I have a 22 inch scar down my back
8. I don't like tomatoes, bananas or beans.

Ok, it really isn't! I started classes at Henderson Community College here at home. I started yesterday and found out that I only had one class! Confused? I'll start from the begining! I got up at 6:15 for my 8:00 class. I got ready and went to class. First I went to the wrong building so after I righted that wrong and went to the right building I found a seat and and waited. 5 other people came in and we waited. We waited for 20 minutes and the teacher never came. Come to find out that class doesn't start till next monday. I wait and go to my 9:30, turns out that it doesn't start till next monday. I go to my 11:00. The teacher is having heart problems and class is cancelled for the rest of the week. My 2:00 doesn't meet during the semester it turns out to be a "Independent" course. So I go home after all that and then have to come back to Henderson for my water aerobics class that is at the YMCA. I call to make sure that we are meeting. We were and I was really excited. I get ready and even leave early. I get to the YMCA and find out that class started at 6:30 NOT 6:45!!! The lady at the front desk told me to just sign in since it was the schools mistake. Oh my goodness! I felt like I was going crazy! To have really done nothing it wore me out! Today I did get called to come to interview at Curves and I hope that I get the job! Keep your fingers crossed for me!!!

Sorry I haven't been updating my blog! Not much has been going on! I went and got registered for classes yesterday. I am taking 12 hours(That is full time, I am not slacking( Rachel no snide remarks!!!) and I only have classes on Monday, wednesday during the day and a Thursday night class! I am pretty happy with it. I am going to get a job next week and I am going to try to work on Tuesdays, thursdays and Fridays. Rachel has it in mind that I am going to work at the Jewelry and handbag outlet, but I really don't want to work there :( I think that I am going to apply to Bath and Body works and that would still work to her benefit because she would get cheaper body spray and wash! It's all about Rachel (or so she thinks!!!) I hope that she see's it that way at least! My best friend Lauren is leaving tomorrow and I am really sad. We only go to see each other for two weeks this summer since I lived in Alabama. I held it together though and didn't cry! She and I have been friends since we were babies and have only come closer since we have been in high school and gone off to college. I am going to miss her, but we have already made plans to get together in the next couple of months! Well, that is what is going on! Peace out!

Well I have found out my parting date. I am leaving next weekend! I am NOT really looking forward to it! I have to admit, it has gotten rather homey! The church has been great. I have to say that this summer has helped me to decide what and where to go in my future. I know that this is kind of deep for a blog so I will change the subject! We had a pot luck at church today and it was SOOOO good!Rachel made some GREAT lasagna. Then after that we went to Ben's grandmothers house for her birthday. She is quite the little firecracker! Weight Watchers

Rachel and I have been going to weight watchers. I have lost a total of 8 pounds. I am very proud of it. Though Paul has lost like 50 in 3 weeks and it has taken me like 10 weeks. But that is ok! I will work harder at it and who knows what ccould happen. I hope that when I go home I will get a job at the YMCA and I would like to start taking tennis lessons. Well, I will try to keep you all updated. I hope that you all are reaching whatever goals you are trying to reach!

So Rachel and I decided that we should go to yoga! Oh goodness! It was so much fun! Kim went with us. Mary, Jasmine and I were on the front row and then Rachel and Kim were behind us. We laughed basically the whole time. I about lost it when the 70 year old woman with a bad hip behind me passed gas!!! It was hysterical! Mary kept looking at me and making me laugh. It was ver relaxing and calm. I think that rachel and Kim are starting a yoga class on monday night at church! Help us all!!!!

Just kidding! Well I did, but it was a henna tattoo!I like it a lot! So much has been going on lately. Last weekend Ben, Rachel and I went to Gulf Shores. We had a LOT of fun. We went to the beach on Saturday. We were there the whole day. I got burnt, of course and had a GREAT day. Then after we got back on monday, I went to Six Flags with the church group. I got sun burnt there too! BUT had a AWESOME time! I love the church here! They are a great group of people and they make sure that there is something to do almost all the time. If I move here (Alabama), I hope that I will be able to go to Sylvan Springs. Well, I have to go get ready. Rachel and I are going to yoga tonight. Hopefully I don't hurt myself or anyone around me! Whats new in my life

Not much is going on in my life right now. As you all know, I am living in Alabama and working here. We found out the other day that my mom has lyme disease. It has taken quite the toll on her. But she is getting better day by day. I have decided to not go back to Freed-Hardeman. I am going to start at Henderson Community College. woo-hoo! :( I really am not that excited. I am going to miss all of my friends and I hate the thought of having to tell my friends. I am dreading that. I also do not want to have to stay at the house with my parents.But with a job and school, I won't be at home that much so, I will make it work. Well, I hope that everyone is having a good summer!
P.S.I would like to give a shout out to Mandy and Brandy that I work with!

A new post

Well, people are complaining that I need to make a new post so here ya go. I got my license, super excited about that. I have gotten to go see some friends and things like that. I am leaving for Alabama in about 2 1/2 days. I am happy about seeing Rachel and all, but not looking forward to going to bed early and getting up early. I am such a night owl. I like to go to bed at 2 am and get up at 10:30-11:30. It makes my dad mad but, oh well. I am looking forward to having more that $5 in my wallet! I had to go to the doctor the other day and she told me that it is not looking so hot and that I have to take better care of my diabetes or something severe could happen so I am now on a medicine that makes me nauseated and to make it worse, I have to take it twice a day! But the upside it is helping me lose weight and if I exercise and eat better I can maybe get off of some of my other medicines! Yay!I think that if I do WW (weight watchers) and curves with Rachel and ride the bike that it will happen! I am trying to keep a open mind!!! :) Well I hope that all of you complainers (aka. First, I would like to apologize for not writing in so long! I've have been VERY busy! Now down to business! I had an AWESOME weekend! I got to go "home" aka. Rachels house which I consider home. We went to a walk-a-thon for the camp that Sylvan Springs goes to. That was fun, I got to make a cotton candy cone. I had to buy because no one else would and I didn't want Josh to be out $2. Rachel and I went shopping. I got a new purse, some jewelry and a great dress for a wedding I am going to. Saturday night we had girls night in with Kim, Alison, Katie, Emily, Rachel and I. Enough said! It was a good weekend!

My so called crazy life!

This week has been a whirlwind of happening events! My mom came to see me saturday and part of sunday. We had a GREAT time! We went shopping and I got some clothes for this summer and a top for easter. We went to eat at a Restaurant called Pusser's (Gross, I know!) but it is named for Buford Pusser who the movie Walking Tall was made after (a scene was filmed at Freed-Hardeman) ANYWAY! We traveled around just looking for it for like 6 hours just to find out that it is closed for a couple of weeks! AUGH!!! Then my roomate went crazy and re-arranged our room where I got a good 3x3 square and my bed was in the middle of the floor and she got a 7x7 area. So I now have a single room! Woo-Hoo!!! And know Rachel is coming to see me Saturday and I am estatic! I have not see her since January! That is a long time! I have not seen my sister and brother-in-law in 3 months! That saddens me! But all of that changes this weekend! Well I have to go study for a 19 verse memory quiz! Happy Wednesday!

I have not written in a while. I have been kind of busy. Makin Music is over. Psi Mu (My kind-of-club) did not win! :( BUT! We did beat Sigma Rho!!!! Woo-Hoo!!! They got 5th! That is all that really matters! Plus we got another couple of awards: spirit. costumes, lyrics and entertainment so that is pretty awesome! It was a good night! School is close to being at the end and I will be in Alabama living and working! I am stoked about that! Well I am now rambling so ... Have a GREAT week!

I am back from Spring Break! I had a lot of fun being at home. I am happy that I got to spend time with my mom and just hang out. I finally got a cell phone and I am super excited about that! Plus I got a skirt for $2.88 and a pair of jeans reguarly $44.oo for $19.88! That was pretty cool! Well... I have to read for English, YUCK! Have a good week!

I am home for Spring Break and it is going good so far! Dad is already annoying me with the whole "kennel up" and "Teal, Jaz, Brody, Drake, Gwen, come here!" Oh well! Mom and I are going out tomorrow, She has Monday off so we are going to Evansville to go shopping. I also found out that I am getting a cell phone! I am excited. It is cute! Spring Break is coming quickly and I cannot wait! I am going home and I am really excited! I got to go home and had a really good time. Mom took me to Old Navy and I got some clothes and flip-flops ( I LOVE flip-flops) My friend Brittany came with me. We had a great time! I had to go to the Doctor and he told me I had a sinus infection and my eye was messed up, but everyone at Freed thinks they are Dr's and kept telling me that I had pink eye ( I don't by the way) But I am on the road to recovery! Ummm.. Oh! My sister got a new car and I am SOOOOOO happy! I get really tired of hitting my head in the Mustang and having to sit so close to the air bag that my knees are up my nose! ( No offense!) Kentucky Rocks!!!

Today has been one of the coolest days in my life! My friend Erica invited me to the SEC (SouthEastern Conference) Baketball Tournament and I got to see UK play Ole Miss. We won 71-62! The bad part was right as we stepped outside it started to rain and Erica and I couldn't find the car so we walked in the rain for 1 hour and now I am getting sick! Also we had to stop at Wal-Mart and buy some clothes we were so sopping wet! But it was totally worth it! Also I get to go home tomorrow! Yay! I have not been home in count the 9 weeks! I can't wait! Spring Break is in 1 week and I am also excited about that! Have a GREAT weekend!

I have a job/internship for this summer and I am super excited!!! I am going to be working with my sister in Alabama! The only thing is that I am not going to get to see my parents that much :( But Rachel said that we will go up to see them and they will come down. I like hanging out with Rachel and Ben, they make life more interesting! I am happy about getting to hang out with the church youth group and do stuff like that. I will miss Lauren and Danielle, church camp and summer devos, but this is good experience! Wish me luck!

Today has been a good day! I slept till 7:50, we had milkshakes in Gano, my friend Adam came up to se me and some friends, my roomate is gone for the weekend, and there is a girls game tonight that I am going to go to so that I HOPEFULLY win $450! My sister and brother-in-law are in good ole Kentucky this weekend. I wish I could be there. The whole family doesn't get to be together much. But as my mom told me " You will be with us in spirit!" I love my family and miss them very much! Hopefully I get to go home next weekend! My fingers are crossed! Have a good weekend!

Today was a ok day. I had classes went to work, went to curves and studied for a memory verse exam with Brittany. Nothing to out of the norm for me. We didn't go to cuves last week because we were both REALLY sick and just needed some R&R. I am still working on my memory verse, I have to prove my mom right. She says that I can get a good grade, so now I have told her I will so now I HAVE to do well! Wish me luck! Oh! AND Happy Mardi Gras!!!!!

My mom and dad came down on Saturday. I am so happy that I got to see them. I have missed them VERY much. They brought my birthday gifts and valentines gift. I got a seatbelt purse in brown which I LOVE!!! We went and got mexican with one of my brothers and my friend Scott. I cried when they left, I am a big enough person to admit. I am really ready for Spring Break. I am going to Flordia and I CANNOT wait! I am hoping to have a good week. I hope that y'all do too!

Today has been a good start to my weekend. I went out to eat with my friends Meredith and Katie ( Yes, I have a friend named Meredith). We went to T.G.I. Fridays and had a great dinner. My friend Brittany has taught me to make hemp bracelets so I worked on my friends bracelets and my brothers girlfriend a key chain. Now my friend Brittany and I are cleaning my room and watching Robot's BECAUSE my mom and dad are coming down tomorrow! I am so excited! This is a GREAT weekend! I hope that you enjoy it also!

I know that it has been a couple of days since my last post! With school, friends and curves I am a busy girl! Sickness hath cometh over me this week and it is making my life a little bit harder. Not really that much is going on. I think that I MIGHT get to go home in a couple of weeks. By that time it will be almost 9 weeks since I have seen my parents and brother. Talk about being homesick!!!! Well I just wrote a post to make my sister happy and I have to go get ready for curves so... BYE!!!!

I have decided that I am letting go of the tame easy life and letting go! The mission: I am going skiing! I know! That is not the normal Meredith Fletcher thing to do but it is free so enough said! I am SO scared that I am going to break a bone or even multiple! I told one of my friends that I am going to paint my toenails so in case I break my leg at least my nails will look good! Please pray for my safety and those who are putting their lives in danger by even coming close to me! Well as my brother-in-law would say" May the force be with you!"

I dyed my hair the other night. I really like it. It is a dark brown, almost black and I think it looks great. Next weekend I am going skiing! Eeeeeekkkkk! I am nervous! I get to go home next weekend!!!!!! I am SO excited! I get to open birthday gifts and Valentines day gifts! I cannot wait to see my mom, dad, brother and the dogs! Snow, Snow, Snow!!!

Well, by the title I am sure that you have guessed it, yes, it DID snow! This mass of fluffy, white, possibly dangerous, fun stuff did prevent me from going home to celebrate my birthday. I was upset but I know that it was for the best! My friend Sarah and I went to Sonic for dinner and we got the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It was a pretty good movie. I started at Curves Thursday and it was great. THey are so nice there. I feel that it was a good use for my money! I am starting to tan next week so that when I go to Flordia, I will not be the whitest white girl there! I am now going to play in the snow!

Earlier this week as my readers (aka Rachel) knew I was estatic about all of my birthday events. Well know because of snow, I do not get to go home and for my birthday dinner a couple people are telling me that they can't come! I am a bit sad. Plus I found out that I overdrew in my checking account! Poor mom paid $30 for me! Today has been REALLY rough, I am not going to lie! It's ok, I will see this as God's plan. Hard times may come my way, but they are for the better! I hope! Talk to y'all later!

I am officially 20 years old! I am very excited! I am thinking that my 20th year of life is going to be a good year! A lot of my friends have written on facebook to me, my sister wrote me a shout out on her blogand my mom has told me happy b-day! Some of my friends are taking me out Thursday and Friday a couple of my friends are coming home with me and two of my best friends are coming home just for me! I went to the basketball game Girls won guys lost by 2 points, they hit a basket and the ref said it didn't count! He should have been punched in the face! Today has been an excellent day!

In my family, roomates are a touchy subject. To most people you think "Roomates big deal". Well I have had 5 or 6 I think. The first one was good but people came by like every 5 minutes to see her, hard to study. #2. was so cold natured that she had 7 blankets, a heated blanket, had flannel sheets and wore fleece pajamas and had the heat on, by the way, I am extremely hot natured, #3 had a crazy ex-boyfriend, she was gone in a week, #4 Didn't bathe, brush teeth or wear deo, nough said! #5 Isn't so bad. The only thing is that her friends decide to call at 1:oo right as I crawl into bed and she sits at her desk and talks to them, her desk is right by my bed! Well thats the drama as for now! I bet that your old roomates don't sound so crazy now, do they?

I love the weekend! Sleep till 11:30 and do nothing! Last night I went to see Nanny McPhee, GREAT movie! Went out to eat with my friends and went to Wal-Mart. Then today the Lions and Lady Lions played our rivals Union. Girls won, guys lost, but that is ok, the guys are nice looking and that helps ease the pain! Even though monday is close that is fine with me because that means that on Tuesday February 7th, I will be turning 20! That my friends, makes me VERY happy!!! Happy Weekend!
